The Mayfair Resort will be undergoing construction of a resort-style rooftop sundeck with infinity pool, sky bar, private cabanas and access elevator through Dec 2008. While some noise associated with the work is expected, management will do its utmost to ensure minimal disturbance to guests.
Renovations of the hotel restaurant and bar and soft refurbishment of lobby will take place from Aug through September 2008.
Full resort services will not be affected and management will ensure work related disturbance is minimal.

The Mayfair Hotel and Spa is located in the heart of Coconut Grove, known for its laid back quality by day and exciting nightlife. In 2008 the hotel was awarded the AAA 4 Diamond distinction. Unique shops, restaurants, and sightseeing opportunities are all within walking distance and the hotel is only 15 minutes from famous South Beach and approximately nine miles from Miami International Airport.

This non-smoking, all-suite hotel has a charming open-air courtyard with fountains, as well as an atrium with lots of foliage. Amenities at the hotel include valet parking, laundry service, concierge service, and room service. Mayfair Hotel is home to the 4500-square-foot Jurlique Spa, which is known for specialty treatments such as revitalizing massages and rejuvenating facials. Ginger Grove Restaurant and Lounge features a stunning setting and a pan-Asian menu with an American twist. Opening in the latter part of 2008 is a resort-style rooftop deck, complete with an infinity pool, private cabanas with plasma-screen TVs, and a bar offering a menu of shareable plates and Asian fruit infused libations.

All suites have either a king-size bed or two queens, marble bathroom, sitting area with small dining table, and a private terrace with a Japanese soaking tub (30 service fee to enjoy). Other room amenities include a fully stocked honor bar, 42-inch plasma TV, DVD player, voicemail, wireless Internet access (in some rooms), hairdryer, coffeemaker, and spa toiletries.
