At the age of 7, Kenny Wayne witnessed an amazing performance by Stevie Ray
Vaughan and became determined to become a professional guitar player. At the
age of 13, he was invited onstage by New Orleans blues-man, Brian Lee. In
1995, Kenny and his band released their first studio album, "Ledbetter
Heights", which sold over 500,000 units within a year. The band scored three
top ten rock singles and the 1 position on Billboard's Blues chart for 5
straight months. Kenny and his band have toured alongside the Rolling
Stones, The Eagles, Van Halen, Aerosmith and Bob Dylan in Europe, Japan and
Australia. He's headlined The Monterey Jazz Festival, where he joined BB King,
Herbie Hancock and others on stage. In 2001, Kenny toured with Stevie Ray
Vaugh's band, "Double Trouble".
